E-GGIS is a complete Enterprise level Global Geographic Information System solution consisting of several interconnected integrated modules. It is designed primarily for manufacturing and processing industrial companies but is also well suited for use in a variety of other industries. The solution is suitable for commercial companies and is capable to supports operational activities related to processing of geographic data, recording environmental changes, calculating risk factors related to environmental changes, surveillance over manufacturing equipment, emergency planning activities related to manufacturing equipment malfunction, etc. All these activities are important to predict operational issues and make data available for organizational decision making.
GGIS the basic subsystem of the solution. It is an environmental-technical information system designed to support operational activities related to the spatial information system. Using the GIS platform, it processes geographic data of linear structures, technological elements of structures and their surroundings, records their environmental changes and risk factors, including a documentation and archive component. The underlying data is obtained and integrated primarily from the GDWH and (G)IP modules.
G3D is a visualization platform for GGIS objects in the form of a 3D digital twin. Based on data obtained from GGIS spatial databases, GDWH and application monitoring using artificial intelligence, it visualizes the data in real time, analyzes it and creates simulations and forecasts of developments to optimize the performance of operational, logistics, production, and personnel processes.
GDWH the integrated global data warehouse module performs the function of collecting, controlling, processing aggregating and managing data from various transaction and reference systems, using (G)IP. It constitutes a global data repository of the main geographical, spatial environmental, social, and operational data for the GGIS and G3D modules.
The (G)IP module performs the integration of the different application systems and subsystems into one integrated whole, maintaining their interoperability and ensuring data exchange and sharing. It draws data from and interacts with all the main subsystems of E-GGIS (GDWH, G3D, GGIS), linking them and combining their different integration styles.
Application monitoring performs the role of an orchestrator and monitors the security of E-GGIS modules, its components, application processes, microservices, databases and other components. It contributes to the fulfilment of EU security standards for SW solutions. It is also a provider of processed data for the G3D module.
